I’m Sarah, the heart behind Grace and Grain Photography based in Douglas, MA. I believe the most meaningful photos are the ones that feel like real life. My approach is relaxed and gently guided, so you never have to worry about being “perfect” in front of the camera. Whether I’m documenting the early days of motherhood, the beautiful chaos of family life, or an intimate proposal or elopement, my goal is always the same: to help you feel comfortable, present, and truly yourself. I’m especially drawn to the small, in-between moments like the way your child reaches for you, the soft glances and belly laughs, or even the seconds that often go unnoticed but mean everything later. Those are the moments worth holding onto. When you work with me, it’s not just about the photos. It’s about creating space for you to slow down, be together, and walk away with something that feels honest, timeless, and completely yours.
