The girl behind the lens

Hi, I’m Sarah. From my home base in Douglas, MA, I photograph families, couples, and individuals all across Worcester County and the surrounding areas. I’ve always been the one in my family and friend group reaching for the camera. I’ve just always had a deep love for looking back on memories; those little moments that might otherwise fade with time. That love led me to take photography courses in college, where I realized something really important: I could turn what I love into my everyday life, and give others the gift of being able to look back and truly remember. Since then, I’ve found so much joy in capturing people in all different stages of life—growing families, new beginnings, quiet everyday moments, and everything in between. Over the years, that passion has only continued to grow. For me, photography isn’t just about taking beautiful images. It’s about preserving the feeling of a moment so you can return to it again and again, long after it’s passed.

The Values Behind the Lens

Staying true to your story and character - capturing that as accurately as possible is so important.

01 Authenticity

Your session with me will feel natural and never forced. I give you the space to focus on your loved one(s) instead of trying to be perfect.

02 Presence over Performance

A photo session isn’t always about the perfectly posed shot; with me, it’s about capturing the small moments too - like the little hands wrapped around your finger or a smirky glance at your partner.

03 The little things matter

I'm a huge lover of dogs! I'm a dog mom myself, to a Boxer-Pit mix named Rocky (there's a strong chance you could meet him at your session, he loves to tag along)

I'm the first in my family to graduate from college, where I got to study abroad in Italy; which led to a photograph of mine being displayed in the Fitchburg Art Museum!

My favorite food changes often because I have found a new love for being in the kitchen. Cooking and baking from scratch has become my new love language (just ask my friends & family)

I love most types of music but always gravitate towards country & even folk/western (bonus points for you if you know Turnpike Troubadours or Flatland Cavalry)

A Few Little Fun Facts

I’d love to hear your story—let’s create something meaningful together.
